When using a dowsing stick to find water you have to figure know two things, how they work and which kind works for you. Figuring out both of these things can help you become successful. Learning how to find water is a survival method that most people don’t have. There have been many instances of people finding numerous items, including ores, minerals, even spiritual energies. While the use of dowsing sticks has been around for over 500 years, with original artwork being done in the 1500s, . That is believed to be its earliest depiction, but it wasn’t until later that the dowsing sticks became used for water. Dealing with thirst can lead many people to try crazy things, but how often are we on the edge of hope before we make our most important discovers. While labeled as a instrument of Satan in the beginning, people have grown much more accustomed to seeing and using these tools. Now that know a little history the important question is how do they work. While there are a couple of different theories behind dowsing sticks, the real way they work isn’t known. There is no scientific explanation for how the work, or why for that matter. What we do know is that people have successfully used dowsing sticks to find water. Some even to this day. While I said no can fully explain it, there is one suggestion I think is possible. Dowsing sticks and electromagnetic fields While some many not agree with me on these things, there are plenty of people that do. An electromagnetic field is generated natural, especially around natural elements, such as water. Holding the stick or sticks in your hand, your body picks up on the subtle electromagnetic fields and your hands subconsciously react. This reaction is called an ideomotor response. This is a reaction that you do not know you are doing. LIke when you walk into a bright room, your pupils dilate, without your control. You have no idea that you are even reacting. This is just a theory, but it seems to hold the most credit. How to use a dowsing rod First off, you need to understand there are two kinds of Rods. L and Y rods. We will go over the basics of how to use each one individually. Though both are fairly simple to use. Take into account that sometimes, this actually doesn’t work for people. I believe that some people are just an as sensitive to the electromagnetic fields, so when you buy a rod and it doesn’t work for you, let someone else try before returning them. The Y rod is the original rod, but not the most widely used. The Y rod is usually just a tree branch, where the branch splits in two, giving it a Y look. The Y rod is held in a position with your arms bent and a firm grip, like you are using handle bars. The tip of the Y rod should be pointing up. When you come across water, the tip of the rod should bend down, showing a natural attraction to the water. I have heard of branches snapping from force but can not confirm that. The L rods are different, and they are the most widely used. L rods are placed one in each hand like a gun by the grip. The long end of the L shape extends out. Make sure to keep a good grip on the handles and make sure you use a handle that can freely rotate. The rotation is what happens when you find what you are looking for. The rods come together and cross each other. This forms an x, and that is where whatever you are looking for is located.
These are the basic ways that people use dowsing sticks. In order to find water, you just think of water. Yes, you just think of what you are looking for and that is what you are guided to. I believe when you think of something you can match its frequency, making it, kind of a mental trick. I hope this guide helped and good luck. Divining rods have been around for centuries, their myths and uses go beyond anything we have known. The mystic and paranormal aren’t known, and people are afraid of what they don’t know. I will assume that since you are here, you are not, but is it really that mysterious. Are divining rods really that strange of a phenomenon, or simply misunderstood? Well lets see… The Divining Rod Theory The belief is simple, kind of. An unnatural force and acts upon the sticks to find you something you want. Not much of a theory, but why do people claim it works. In short, because people have and do see it work. It was just believed to be for metals, because the metals gave off a certain vibration that the dividing rods could detect. Then, people started discovering that it could be used to find other things like water, which lead to the term water divining. While there should be a difference in all these things, the divining rods still find what the user is searching for. People have used the rods in many situations with high success, so it is assumed that the rods are actually feeling these electromagnetic type energies, and responding to them. What if that is not what is actually happening, what if there is a simpler explanation to these amazing feats.. Divining Rods Science The science of divining rods, however, is not so unscientific. Why is it that people need to have their hands on the rods for them to work, in most cases this is what is happening? Why is it that people are actually finding things. Well for science it's something called the ideomotor response. This is where science gets involved. The ideomotor response is an unconscious response to a stimulus. That means you are unaware that you are reacting to something, like when you go into a bright room and your pupils dilate, you can not even tell you are doing it. So it is believed that you are feeling the energy of what you are looking for, and reacting subconsciously whether it's tilting the Y shaped rods down, or making the L rods cross. There is a problem with this theory though. How do you really know where the thing you are looking for is sitting, or hiding. You can’t see underground water pipes. Yet people can find them. That means that if you have a ideomotor response, then you must be able to feel the electromagnetic force of the object, or we are being guided. So what is doing this? This is a question we may never be able to answer. So Do Divining Rods Work The answer in short is no one actually knows, but people have made it work. So if you came here because you want to know if divining rods work you may not like the answer. The fact of the matter is that this phenomenon has not been tested enough to give you actual answers. While the claims stated above make sense, they are not enough to prove what does and doesn’t work. Some people still insist that it does, and still find things this way. I have to tell you I am amazed by this. While science doesn’t back it, something has to be happening for them to be able to do it. In some cases like water dowsing, people say oh there is water under most of the ground surfaces. Ok then forget about the water. How did they find minerals, how do people find underground piping. Maybe it's because they know the land, maybe it's because they are scam artists. The only theory I don’t believe is that Satan is moving the rods. You yourself can test this, you can buy a set and find out for yourself. If when you buy them you don’t find anything, see if a friend can. Test, test, test. If you are looking for divining rods for sale. You can go here… How can you find water or spirits with no electrical equipment? How about two pieces of metal. This is called dowsing and definitely did not start this way. To find out where this started, as we know it, we have to go all the way back to Germany in the 1600’s. This is where modern dowsing started by looking for metals. Yes, metals, not water. However.. for the full history we have to go back even further. Origins of Dowsing Rods In the year 1518, Martin Luther, a professor of was a German professor of theology, priest, author, composer, Augustian monk, and a seminal figure in the Reformation. Luther was ordained to the priesthood in 1507, he was quoted as saying, “ dowsing for metals is an act that broke the first commandment.” A 1550 edition of Cosmographia shows a wood carving of someone using a y shaped stick dowsing for metals. Although there isn’t enough context behind it, it was very clear what was happening. So, in conclusion the first instances of dowsing were specifically for finding metals and ores. Water and energy dowsing worked its way into dowsing later on down the road. dowsing rods come in two different forms. The first form is a simple y shaped stick, this is what was depicted in the wood carving in the Cosmographia. It is easier to find a stick shaped like this to make something specifically for this purpose. The shape of the stick also made it easy to handle, since dowsing can take some time. The second form of the dowsing rod is two L shaped pieces of metal, usually copper. Although it is unclear if copper works better for divining. Copper was widely used so it was easier to get a hold of, and to form. This is where the term dowsing rods came from instead of rod, because there are two. The two rods are easier to hold, making it easier to concentrate on the rods movement instead of the weight of the stick. It is important to note that these two rods act differently which is why you have to know.. How dowsing rods work Dowsing rods are used as a spiritual tool. Locking on to the energy of minerals, stones, water, and energy, depending on what you are looking for. The two different dowsing rods for sale are Y and L rods. The two types of rods have two different ways of showing you what you are looking for. The Y shaped rod is held in both hands and slightly pointed up. While you move around the thing you are looking for will pull the tip of the rod down towards the ground. If the rod pulls quick enough it could snap, making the L rods a much more forgiving choice. The L shaped rod is different in the fact that the rods have to cross each other to show you where the energy is. You hold the rods parallel with each other and parallel with the ground, once you have found something the rods will cross over each other forming an x. For anyone wondering, this is a very weird feeling when it happens. Just so you know. I have personally never felt the energy from the rods only saw the movement, but have heard of others feeling it, including what was explained as a tingling feeling. Why people use dowsing rods?
Divining rods have had many uses throughout history. The original use, we believe, is to find minerals, gems, and ores. Finding these metals was essential to make things that were needed in the past. Today with the advancements of technology it is much easier to find these things, so this tradition has been phased out. They most widely known reason is to find water. Living in different climates and in harsh conditions has caused many people to search for ways to find the things they need. Including astrology to find direction, tracking to find food, and dowsing to find water. While there are ways for people to find water with technology, some people stick to the old method of dowsing. Dowsing has been said to have been a very reliable tactic for finding water. This technique is used to find water lines, underground lakes and streams, or any forms of water in extremely dry environments and conditions. The newest reason is for finding energy. Spiritual energy is what it finds, not electrical energy. This is why I believe there are so many dowsing rods for sale. Spiritual energy is energy from ghost, demons, and anything in the middle. Since it is believed that ghost feed of fear and other emotions, it is also acceptable to believe that these entities give of this same energy. So where do you go to find these... You might also want to know about if it even works or not. These questions might be intriguing to your mind and that’s why we are here. We are going elaborate some facts about telekinesis in this article today. So keep reading. History of Telekinesis Telekinesis is a psychological phenomenon which has been portrayed in many different forms of literature and entertainment since the dawn of time. Telekinesis is described as being able to influence a form of physical material without interfering with it, and it was a common topic of discussion. Even in the Bible, Jesus converts water into wine, transforms five fish into five thousand fish, and even raises one from the dead. Whilst we assign telekinesis to divinity in terms of the bible and other ancient texts. What is Telekinesis? "Who here is psychic? Raise my hand!" An old joke but it’s most relevant to our topic here. The word "telekinesis," is derived from the Greek (tēle) – meaning "distance" – and "motion", was first used by the Russian psychologist Alexander N. Aksakof in 1890. In parapsychology, psychokinesis, also called telekinesis, is the activity of the mind on matter, in which things are allegedly induced by mental attention on them to shift or alter. The physical essence of psychokinetic actions compares with the other major category of parapsychological manifestations, the cognitive consistency of extrasensory perception (ESP). Reported effects of telekinetic abilities include levitation and bending of metals; these displays are popular in theatrical magic, albeit fraudulent. A man named Uri Geller helped telekinesis resurface in mainstream news into the 1970s. He would go on tours demonstrating to thousands that he could actually repair broken watches, bend spoons, and even change the outcomes of dice roll simply by using his mind's strength. It helped to improve telekinesis 'awareness, and when the horror film Carrie came out, it practically sealed off the deal in terms of making it psychological force real. Evidence and Facts about Telekinesis Although these can’t be called as facts about telekinesis, it's easy to find fictional Telekintetics: The popular X-Men comic and film series includes the character Jean Grey, whose abilities include extrasensory vision and telekinesis. The 2009 film "Push" is about a group of young Americans with various supernatural abilities who are teaming up against a mysterious US government agency and using their paranormal powers. While, according to a 2005 Baylor Religion Survey, many Americans believe in psychic abilities (about 15 percent of us), empirical evidence for its presence remains elusive. Many people also equate psychokinesis with the spiritual world, claiming, for example, that some ghost stories — like poltergeists — are not manifestations of the paranormal at all, but rather the unconscious releases of the psychic rage or fear of an individual. Recent studies often note that tuning into the fine vibrations is a key component of whatever entity you attempt to move. Instead, you can control and rearrange the frequencies to allow the object to move as your mind commands. Telekinesis has, in essence, proven to be possible, albeit in a much smaller way than we had previously believed. We can thank Hollywood and the rest of the media for this notion but then we can take this information and apply it to ourselves so we can be on the right track to lead the best life we deserve. We hope that you find these facts about telekinesis helpful. If you want to learn more about how to do telekinesis check out these Top Telekinesis Books Telekinesis is the ability to move objects without touching them physically and use the power of the mind to influence them. Telekinesis became popular when Uri Geller, a famous psychic, demonstrated his telekinetic powers that took the world by storm. Since then, many researchers and scientists have been working hard to prove or disprove the ability of Telekinesis. However, no real evidence is found yet to conclude that it is real or not. Some people are born with the talent of telekinesis, while others may learn to do it. Since telekinesis is controlling energy through the mind, it is possible for many people out there to learn it and even perform it for a limited time. Although there’s no proof that telekinesis exists or learning it is possible, there is absolutely no harm in trying. Since many believe that it is possible for you to learn telekinesis, there are easy ways to develop this skill. Keep reading to learn more. 1. Believe that it is real. The very first thing that you need to do is to believe that telekinesis is real. For you to perform telekinesis, you must convince yourself that it is possible to move objects with your mind. If you have the slightest doubt that psychic abilities are unreal, then it will be impossible for you to learn telekinesis. Telekinesis defies science, and if your skeptical mind believes that everything can be explained through laws of physics, graphs, and data, then you should quit learning telekinesis right away. 2. Meditate You must have read this somewhere that humans only utilize 10% of their brains. This might be true; however, if you invest some time to harness its abilities, you will be surprised to learn that the capacity of your brain is boundless. One way to do that is by improving your concentration and focus, and this can be done via meditation. If you really want to learn telekinesis and wish to master the art of moving objects through the mind, then you must clear your mind first. Practicing meditation will help you clear your mind and eliminate distractions, thus improving your concentration. 3. Visualizing objects The next step is to practice visualizing objects. Start by choosing a small object such as a match stick or an apple and try to memorize its features. Once you are confident that you have understood the object in detail, close your eyes and focus on that object till you visualize the object's shape, size, color, smell, and other small details. Once you have mastered visualizing small objects, move gradually towards more complex objects. 4. Move objects Once you have visualized the object, it becomes a part of you. The next step is to decide how do you want to move it? Do you want it to spin or elevate, or do you want it to move forward, sideways, or backward? While you stay focused on the object, send the signals to it as you would do to your leg or arm. Focus on the connection between you and the object. The basic concept of telekinesis is that you and the object are one. For you to move it, you must respect and believe in this connection. Conclusion We hope that this article has given you clear instructions on how to develop telekinesis. Always remember to stay calm, believe in the process, track your progress, be patient, and use your powers in the right direction. Why are you still reading this, go for it! Good luck! Imagine if you a will, you are at sea. While you are on your boat you hear a rumble. This rumble is followed by a bubbling of the water and the desperate look of horror on the other passengers faces. Then a giant head of a serpent appears, followed by another. It finally ends with more heads then you could count, and the destruction of your boat and you. In modern days this would be laughed off if someone told you. However, if you were to tell this tale long ago, many people would believe you and some would even try to help. That is, because this was a very common story, and it was all blamed on one thing. The demon of the deep. In the time before time existed there was myth, and in Greece myth was king. From atlas to Hercules, through the pages of Zeus, there were battles and struggles, each with different creatures. No creature from the sea was as feared as the giant multi headed monster known as .. Hydra. Where did this story start though? What would make someone think of this beast, and why would they choose for it to look like that? First lets start with how it looks according to legend. The hydra in pictures seems to be between anywhere from 10 feet to multiple stories tall. It seems to have the skin of a lizard making it reptilian in nature. The hydra has been known to have between 20 and 50 heads. Everytime you chop off one of the heads two heads grow in its place. Knowing that leads many to believe that it can have an infinite number of heads. It has four legs, two long legs in the front and two shorter in the back. The hydra also has a long tail as well. Second, Where did the story start? The story of the hydra or the Lernean Hydra was start by the Greeks. The story of the hydra first appears in something called Hesiod’s Theogony. Which is a poem. The oldest images of the hydra are on a pair of fibulae dating back to 700 BCE., which are like modern day broche or fastener for garments. The fibulae show a six headed monster, but Alcaeus in 600 BCE added additional heads to the myth of the monster. With vast amounts of stories each story added my heads. The total eventually became 50, and in some counts may be even more. So what was the story about? The story of Lernaean Hydra is about Hercules. Hydra was the offspring of Typhon a large serpentine giant and Echidna was a half woman half snake monster. Hydra was raised by Hera, who specifically raised the creature to kill Hercules. The hydra lived in Lake Lerna. So if you ever want to try to see it, I would suggest going to visit. Carefully. During Hercules trials, he was expected to fight the hydra. After a long battle the only immortal had that the beast had was cut off by a golden sword given to Hercules by Athena. Other variations of the story tell of Hercules using the beast own venom to cut the rest of the heads off. I think this is a great legend. If you have anything you want add leave a comment below. Is There A Real Life Loch Ness Monster? In Scotland in the Scottish Highlands there is a monster, one that lives in the depths of Loch Ness. The lochs have been a controversial place due to many mysteries that surround it. None of them greater than a creature of myth and lore discovered in the early 1930’s. Many people from the area have claimed to see powerful waves coming off the tops of two enormous humps in the water, with sightings of a large animal silhouette in the depths. The legend of a creature that rules the loch may have been around even earlier as some predict, leading people to not know how old the creature is. Even if more than one exists is still a mystery. How can a creature so big elude us? With our vast technological equipment, we should be able to pinpoint anything down to a foot in length, or more. Yet, we can not seem to locate this animal, and maybe that is because of where it lives. The loch itself covers 22 sq miles, with the lowest point being 230 meters. There is plenty of room for a giant to hide. Underneath the surface everything looks calm, till a head and long neck emerge from the water. You know what that sounds like, a dinosaur. From what we can tell from the description of Nessie, aka the Loch Ness Monster, it is a reptilian creature. From one description by George Spicer and his wife, a creature having a long body about 4 feet high and 25 feet long, with a wavy, narrow neck, slightly thicker than the trunk of an elephant, 10-12 foot wide. The strange thing is that they saw no limbs. According to some accounts Nessie has flippers, if the creature was standing on the road then they may have been slightly hidden to the Spicers. The most famous photo showed Nessie with one hump, long neck and head out of the water. One trademark feature about the Loch Ness Monster is the shape of its head, which is shaped like a horse's head. So where would a monster like this come from. Loch Ness is a large body of water, but where did Nessie come from. One of the most realistic ideas is that Nessie is a dinosaur, more specifically Plesiosaur. The Plesiosaur lived millions of years ago along with the dinosaurs. The origins of Nessie could be as simple as that dinosaur finding a way to survive through the centuries whether it is in the depths of the water, or in an underground cave, where they can be left alone outside the reach of humans. To me this is the most likely scenario if Nessie is real. What are the chances that this is mistaken identity though? Through the years there have been thoughts that the Loch Ness Monster is nothing but bad vision. Some people explain that they thought they saw something and it winds up being a piece of driftwood.
Even some types of snakes are rather large. If you have ever seen photos of anacondas swimming through the amazon river, you will know exactly what I mean. Many people see things that they want to see, whether it's because they are daydreaming, and their minds want to really see something so it makes it up. The fact is that so many people have seen things in the Loch that it's hard to dismiss the stories. So where was the first sighting of this magnificent monster, researchers say it is as early as the sixth century AD, by the creator of “The life of St. Columba” Adomnan. Saint Columba was burying a man by the River Ness. The was attacked by a large creature from the water. He called it a “water beast”. They tried rescuing the man but he died. Columba sent a follower to find the beast. When the beast tried to attack, Columba made the sign of the cross and the beast as if pulled with ropes, was pulled back and away from the followers. Many people don’t believe this story, believe instead that this story is a retelling of stories from long before that in medieval times. If you have any more you want me to find out about this beast or any thing you can think of you want to say, leave a comment below. First off, I am a huge, huge fan of dragons. In fact, most people I know are. They are bohemeths of the world, with wings that can block out the sun. Crumbling towers and burning down farms isn’t some massive goal, it is just a Tuesday. That’s it. Dragons have been in myth and legend since the beginning of man, but the furthest evidence recorder comes from the 4th century. It was around that time in history that people found the bones of a giant creature. This was the start of archeology as we know it. Where do these stories come from? Stories of vikings, even some modern sightings of giant winged beasts in the sky. So What are dragons? Although most people alive or who have ever lived have not come close to a dragon, we have reason to believe that they may still be alive. Through sightings, and the discovery of new species every day, the chances that we have found every animal are very small. Where would they hide? I have no idea. The origins of the dragon supposedly come from the first discovery of dinosaur bones. Construction workers in China discovered a long necked dinosaur fossil. The fossil belonged to Qijianglong, a dinosaur that roamed the world 160 million years ago. As the rumors of this terrifying beast got out, word started to spread. So what do dragons look like? According to most people they are very long reptilian creatures. Some kinds of dragons have wings and others do not. The head is long and thin. If the dragon has arms they usually have very large sharp talons. If they have arms they are usually short. So, if I had to guess I would say the dragon looks like an anorexic t-rex with wings...basically. However, many cultures have many different varieties of dragons, including ones that breathe fire. For instance, the chinese dragon is bigger and has no wings. A lot like falcor from the never ending story. The varieties vary in size from dinosaur proportions to as small as a chicken. Basically there are many stories and all seem to be different. It is believed that some of these dragons are actually dinosaurs. Dinosaurs that have somehow survived through the millennia. Presumably through stories and ancient scrolls and drawings. However, there is another creature who bears a passing resemblance to the fabled creature… As the world started to expand, sailors started to gather the courage to explore exotic new lands. Those new lands included Indonesia. In Indonesia, there are many fascinating and amazing things including, the komodo dragon. The komodo dragon is a huge reptile. They are aggressive and can reach up to 10 feet in length. Many stories from sailors tell about these great dragons and bring them home where the stories spread. Evidence of these stories can be found in nordic legend, as well as greek legend. The word dragon comes from the greek word drakon meaning serpent or seafish. Stories of these creatures have been around for ages, and we are no closer to finding the answer then we were before. So if you have anything add be sure to leave a comment below. The abominable snowman, or yeti, is a legendary beast from around the Himalayas. A monster of mythic proportions and stature, measuring up to 8 ft tall. The casting of footprints that have been found tell of a giant, a beast that hunts in the snow and powers through arctic winds to assault his victims. But, what else is there. To find the answers to that and many other questions, we can look towards movies. Movies like Monsters Inc have glorified this beast for the amusement of children and grownups alike. Dealing with things the way that Hollywood does, makes for a very interesting take on a rather disturbing creature. While other movies like "The Abominable Snowman (1957) tells us of a much different version of the beast. The aggressive and savage animal known to most of us, or anyone who has had the misfortune of coming across him or signs of him. While most of us go on with our lives, this creature has ripped through the Himalayas on a dark and destructive path. While movies and stories have painted out this creature's life in a variety of ways, we may need to dive deeper to see what this beast is truly made of. So what does this creature look like? When some people think of the abominable snowman they think of a large bipedal ape like creature, between 6 to 8ft tall. This is the basic look, but there is a problem. So far, no one has seen the abominable snowman. There have been stories and grainy pictures but so far no real proof. There is a small group of people that know about this entity. That group is the Sherpas of the Himalayas, and they have known about him for a long time. Sharing their own stories shows us just who close to danger they really are. From close encounters, to really close encounters such as seeing them from a distance and hearing something sneak up behind them and smell their hair. While all these are word of mouth, they are deeply ingrained in the culture. The origins of the abominable snowman are not known, some people believe that their origins are extraterrestrial. The stories of the himalayan yeti range from an outcast wildman, to the missing link, but one thing is for sure, it is all over the history of the region. The elders of the groups recalled terrifying stories that have been handed down through the generations of brutal attacks on anyone that came close to the beast. The stories predate buddahist religious beliefs of this creature. The creature has been linked to bigfoot and the skunk ape. Many of these hairy bipedal creatures are looked at as the same thing, because they are very similar to each other. It was once stated that they may be part of a parallel dimension that found a portal here, and may have gotten stuck. The first sightings can be recalled by elders but for us the first details of a Himalayan creature came from expeditions to Nepal and Mount Everest itself. According to H. Siiger the yeti was part of pre-buddahist beliefs. According to him the Lepacha people called it a “Glacier Being.” The first recorded incident in the 19th century was by B. H. Hodgens, whose tale was recounted in a famous journal, about his trip to Nepal. As the story grew the legend quickly did too. Hodgens stated that he saw a giant bipedal creature completely covered in hair. In 1899, another story came out about an explorer in the tibetan region that found footprints of enormous size that he thought may have been by a very large bear. There have been many stories since then that have circulated telling of large footprints found around Mt. Everest. Though physical proof is hardly evident. With the turn of the centuries cameras have become an everyday part of life, that is where we have got a ton of photographic evidence, and it's on the rise. So if you ever decide that you want to come face to face with one of these giants, then it's time to plan a trip. While most of these places are cold and foriegn they are your most likely chances to find him.
First, Nepal. There have been many reports of seeing the yeti here. If you are up for scouting and significant amounts of searching then this is your destination. Second, Mt. Everest. While most people dread hiking even a little bit, this is the mother of all hikes. However, if you want to get up close and personal with the beast, then this is your best option.
